Compellent's Jack Judd Named CFO of the Year by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN--(Marketwire - December 11, 2009) - Compellent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: [ CML ]) today announced that Jack Judd, chief financial officer, was recognized as the CFO of the year for medium-sized public companies by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. The awards recognize excellence among top financial executives in the Twin Cities, and honorees were selected by a panel consisting of members of Financial Executives International and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Judd was selected as the CFO of the year for his financial leadership and management of Compellent's successful initial public offering (IPO). Since its launch in 2004, Compellent's revenues have increased rapidly, and more than 1,700 customers have implemented the Compellent [ storage area network ] (SAN) for fluid data management in their data centers.
