RCN Corporation: RCN Appoints Mary Jane Horne as Vice President, General Manager of RCN Business Services

HERNDON, VA--(Marketwire - October 6, 2009) - [ RCN Corporation ], a leading provider of all-digital and high definition video, high-speed internet, and premium voice services to residential and small-medium sized business customers, as well as high-capacity transport services to carrier and large enterprise customers, has appointed Mary Jane Horne as vice president, general manager of [ RCN Business Services ].

Bringing with her over 20 years of telecom and cable industry experience, MJ has been with RCN Corporation for the past five years, holding such executive positions as vice president, corporate development, where she orchestrated the acquisitions of ConEdison Communications and NEON Communications, and CTO RCN Business Services, where she expanded the direction of the organization beyond traditional telephony solutions to emerging VoIP and managed services offerings.
