During this significant bridge inspection project, Pennoni Associates, the subcontractor in charge of the overall inspections on these bridges, will provide access to the bridge members that are to be studied and tested. Drexel University, a leading university and a major center of bridge design and analysis, will work closely with MATECH on the EFS inspection.
Pennoni Associates, established in 1966, is a full-service consulting engineering firm, focusing on the coordination and design of civil infrastructure systems. The company provides various services to a diverse base of clients including structural design, land surveying, water supply and distribution, and wastewater collection and conveyance, among other services.
Drexel University was founded in 1891 as the Drexel Institute of Art, Science and Industry by Philadelphia financier and philanthropist Antony J. Drexel.
