ISRO invites students for innovative 3-week space training programme; know how to register

ISRO invites academic institutes to participate in START-2025, a space science and technology awareness training programme for students.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has launched a unique three-week training program called "YUVIKA-2024" (Young Scientist Programme) aimed at fostering interest in space science among students. This initiative, which stands for "YUva VIgyani KAryakram," targets students in Class 9 as of January 1, 2024, offering them an immersive experience in space technology, science, and applications. The program includes hands-on activities, lectures, and technical sessions at various ISRO centers. Registration for YUVIKA-2024 is open until April 30, 2024, and interested students can apply through the ISRO Antariksha Jigyasa Platform. Selection is based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, and a space quiz, with a focus on promoting gender equality and representation from all states and Union Territories of India.
