This outdated infrastructure not only slows down the integration of AI but also poses risks to data security and system reliability. The PAC has urged the government to accelerate its digital transformation efforts, emphasizing the need for a strategic overhaul to replace or update these legacy systems to fully leverage AI's potential in improving public services, reducing costs, and enhancing decision-making processes.
