A Martian meteorite, discovered in the Sahara Desert in 2011, will be showcased at the Japan Pavilion during the 2025 World Exposition in Osaka. This meteorite, weighing 15.7 kilograms, is one of the largest of its kind found on Earth and is believed to have originated from Mars about 1.3 billion years ago. The exposition, themed "Designing Future Society for Our Lives," will run from April 13 to October 13, 2025, and is expected to attract millions of visitors.
