The video in question was from a 2017 SpaceX event where Musk, while joking about the company's production challenges, made a hand gesture that resembled a Nazi salute. Following the backlash, the event organizers, Kulturprojekte Berlin, decided to remove the exhibit to avoid any association with Nazi symbolism. This incident has sparked discussions about Musk's behavior and the sensitivity around historical symbols in Germany, where Nazi imagery is strictly regulated.
