NASA astronaut Frank Rubio, who has been aboard the International Space Station (ISS) for nearly seven months, finally embarked on his first spacewalk. Rubio, along with cosmonaut Dmitri Petelin, conducted a spacewalk to work on the installation of a new set of high-power solar arrays on the ISS. This spacewalk was significant as Rubio had been in space for an extended period without performing an Extra-Vehicular Activity (EVA) due to various delays and scheduling issues.
