POMPANO BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - May 9, 2012) - [ Cyclone Power Technologies ] (OTCQB: [ CYPW ]) (PINKSHEETS: [ CYPW ]), developer of the all-fuel, clean-tech Cyclone Engine, announced today that it has received a patent in Australia for its scalable waste energy recycling engine known as the [ WHE ]. This patent comes at a key time when Cyclone is actively pursuing opportunities to commercialize its green engine technology for the Australian agriculture and mining industries.

Designed to run on waste heat from the exhaust of industrial furnaces, diesel engines and gas turbines, Cyclone's WHE is also being adapted for other recovered energy applications. Such commercial uses include distributed power generators that run on agricultural waste and other biomass, as well as used motor oil. Cyclone is currently in pre-production durability testing of a power generator system using the WHE and fueled by waste motor oil for its customer [ Phoenix Power Group ].
