TeleCommunication Systems' CEO Elected to the CTIA-The Wireless Association® Executive Committee

ANNAPOLIS, MD--(Marketwire - Dec 7, 2011) - TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. Tosé, has been elected to the Executive Committee of CTIA-The Wireless Association®. CTIA is an international nonprofit membership organization that has represented the wireless communications industry since 1984. Mr. Tosé will serve his first one-year term as an "Other Supplier" Executive Committee member and board director beginning on January 1, 2012. The Executive Committee is responsible for all corporate governance and management issues of the association, including approval of its annual budget and dues, setting its public policy agenda and appointing members of the Nominating Committee.
