Planaras debut at [ Design Miami ] launches at [ Avant Gallery ] in creative partnership with Surface Magazine, the official media sponsor of Design Miami, at a by-invitation press and industry event on November 30th starting at 6PM at the new Avant Gallery pop-up venue located in Miami Beach at 309 23rd Street. This year the spotlight will be on top industrial design and furniture artists [ Chad Jensen ], [ Michael Philip Wolfson ] and [ Pryor Callaway ], at a third-annual exhibit entitled aPictures + Furniture.a

The evening will commence with an industry-leading, TwitSalon event hosted by the social media firm [ Adroyt ], gathering journalists and industry design experts in tandem to provide live commentary about the vibrant 15-artist exhibits on display. Planaras innovative technology will bring each of the three exhibiting industrial artistsa exhibits to life, with exciting video displays on architecturally-designed media walls soaring 10 feet in height. Avant Galleryas event immediately follows the aVernissagea official opening for Art Basel Miami Beach held the same night. BRAVO TV will be filming the work of select fine artists for the second season of [ Work of Art ].
Planar is equally pleased to announce that [ Cristin Tierney Gallery ] is exhibiting at the PULSE contemporary art show, where multi-media artist [ Yorgo Alexopoulosa ] work aNo Feeling is Finala is featured, with [ Planaras Claritya" Matrix LX-46 media wall ] for this special debut. The installation will be for sale in limited edition, through the Cristin Tierney Gallery.
At this yearas [ Miami SOLO ], presented by Artexpo, Planar will be demonstrating further thought leadership by showing two prototypes of the digital canvas in partnership with Samsung Semiconductor, featuring curated work by 30 emerging artists. Samsungas SMaARTa" liquid crystal panels capture the texture of original painting while illuminating the colors of art with an LED backlight.
These displays go beyond traditional commercial or television products, and have been designed for the display of fine art with optical enhancements, electronics, and architectural frames worthy of an institutional or individual art collector.
