FAIRFAX, Va.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--ManTech International Corporation (NASDAQ: MANT) has named Michael Brogan senior vice president for strategy of the companyas Systems Engineering and Advanced Technology (SEAT) group.

Brogan will be responsible for ensuring an integrated approach to ManTech SEATas systems engineering processes, and overseeing the delivery of innovative technology solutions to support the missions of U.S. military services and civilian agencies. He will also identify new business opportunities and help align SEATas strategy with Department of Defense acquisition-reform measures.
Brogan joins ManTech after a distinguished career with the United States Marine Corps, where he retired with the rank of brigadier general. His last Marine Corps assignment was as commanding general of the Marine Corps Training Command. Brogan assumed that position after his successful leadership of the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), during which time he also served as the program executive officer for the Joint Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle program. Earlier, he commanded the Marine Corpsa Third Assault Amphibian Battalion at Camp Pendleton, California.
Brogan moved to the MCSC after earning a masteras degree in national resource strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He was product group director for Infantry Weapons Systems and then the direct reporting program manager, Advanced Amphibious Assault before taking command of the MCSC.

Brogan is a recipient of the Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with Gold Star, the Navy Commendation Medal with Gold Star, the Navy Achievement Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon.
A native of Orrville, Ohio, Brogan graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in chemical engineering. He holds an MA in business from Webster University in addition to his master of science degree from Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
