(Nasdaq: [ VSAT ]) has received approval from the Canadian Security Establishment Canada (CSEC) for use of its Eclypt® series of [ encrypted hard disk drives ] (HDD) to secure Government of Canada (GC) information up to and including Top Secret, as well as Canadian Eyes Only information. Canadian government organizations, already using Flagstone encryption products, can now use Eclypt HDD series to safeguard information at rest up to and including Top Secret knowing that they provide secure encryption.

The Canadian government has also granted a National Master Standing Order (NMSO) for both the Eclypt HDD series and the ViaSat [ AltaSec® KG-250 network encryptor ]. The NMSO enables organizations to easily buy the Eclypt and KG-250 products they need to ensure data security.
