STERLING, Va., Oct. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --Neustar, Inc., (NYSE: [ NSR ]), the nation's Local Number Portability Administrator (LNPA), today applauds the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the North American Numbering Council's (NANC) working group and the North American Portability Management, LLC (NAPM LLC) on the release of the Request for Information (RFI) as part of the process for the selection of the vendor to serve as the LNPA when the current contract expires in June 2015.  Neustar remains committed to competing in the procurement process, and ultimately renewing its contract.
