Enhancements to the Responsys Interact Suite Will Help Extend New School Marketing Across the Enterprise

Responsys Interact Fall '11 includes major extensions to the [ Responsys Interact Suite ] including Responsys Interact for Distributed Marketing, a new application that allows organizations to effectively coordinate and manage local marketing campaigns; and Winner Selection, a first-of-its-kind solution that allows marketers to test and compare campaign elements and campaign combinations that were previously difficult or impossible to test, and manually or automatically direct future marketing to the best performing option.

Responsys Interact Fall '11 includes the following powerful new additions:

  • Responsys Interact for Distributed Marketing: Designed to empower non-technical marketers at the local and regional level, Responsys Interact for Distributed Marketing provides an easy-to-use interface to develop and deploy cross-channel, interactive marketing campaigns. Customizable templates allow marketing organizations to centralize and control corporate branding and messaging, while giving marketers at the local level the ability to personalize an email, mobile or social message for their own market. This powerful new feature provides marketers with a better way to improve the relevancy and performance of campaigns -- by making them local.

  • Winner Selection: Marketing programs include many components that drive success: targeting, messaging, offers, timing, frequency, sequencing, and channel. Traditional testing, typically limited to basic A/B splits related to subject line, time-of-day, or offer falls short when marketers are looking to optimize overall program performance. With Responsys' Winner Selection, marketers can test and optimize the complete flow of interactions that make up a marketing experience to achieve improved performance, higher ROI, and greater automation and efficiency.

Key features of Responsys Winner Selection include:

  • Define tests with a range of criteria that includes creative designs, subject lines, message content, touch frequencies, message sequence or engagement channel;
  • Automatically or manually control test conclusion and subsequent action based on pre-defined winner criteria;
  • Define test audiences based on specific filters or through random allocation;
  • Establish holdout groups from select segments such as high value consumers; and
  • Automatically receive notifications when tests conclude and winners are selected.

Other enhancements to Responsys Interact Fall '11 include:

  • Filter Designer -- Quick Count: Quick Count enables marketers to more rapidly determine the size of a segment they have defined in Filter Designer. With Quick Count, marketers can test more filtering criteria and more easily determine the effects of those criteria changes on segment size.
  • Responsys Interact for Mobile -- Extended International Support: Further strengthening the company's mobile marketing capabilities, Responsys Interact for Mobile has been enhanced to include both long code and dedicated short code support in the United Kingdom and Germany, and now supports sending SMS to mobile recipients in Australia and New Zealand.
