iWeb successfully obtained SAS 70 Type II Certification

MONTREAL, Dec. 15 /CNW Telbec/ - iWeb Group Inc. (TSX-V: IWB) proudly announces that its iWeb-CO co-location hosting services data center located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, has successfully been granted Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70) Type II Certification.

The SAS 70 standard is a widely recognized auditing standard that confirms, after an audit from a independent, external firm, that the company has control procedures and that they are adequately implemented.

iWeb's review was conducted by Deloitte & Touche LLP and included extensive testing performed over a six-month period. The review and report notably included a full assessment of:

• Infrastructure and physical security measures
• Human resources policies and procedures
• Insurance coverage

« In obtaining this certification, iWeb had two main objectives, confirming the existence of the numerous procedures that were put into action over the last couple of years and demonstrating to its actual and potential customers the rigor of its operations.
