Medworxx enters UK Market through Partnership with ModelAdvice DC Consulting Ltd UK

TORONTO and LONDON, Aug. 10 /CNW/ - Medworxx Inc. ("Medworxx") (TSXV: MWX), provider of healthcare solutions for patient flow, compliance and education, is pleased to announce that it is entering the UK Market through a partnership with ModelAdvice DC Consulting Ltd UK. Model Advice DC Consulting Ltd will employ the Medworxx Utilization Management System (UMS) in performing Bed Census Audits (BCA). The initial clients that will have their Bed Utilization Reviews conducted with the Medworxx UMS are located in the Welsh Health Economy and English Health Economy. There is additional interest from hospitals located in Scotland and Northern Ireland. ModelAdvice DC Consulting Ltd is now active in these markets.

The Medworxx Utilization Management System (UMS) monitors patient stay, highlights care delays, assesses discharge readiness, and provides consistency in the care process and an understanding of when the patient should be discharged with no compromise to patient safety. Model Advice views the Medworxx UMS as an excellent tool to support their Bed Census Audits and for the UK market. "Our Bed Utilization Reviews are a comprehensive review of Bed Utilization in selected acute care and community hospital facilities, which enables commissioners to specify the levels of care, standards of performance and detail the hours of bedside care that patients require," said Karen Dunwell, Managing Director, ModelAdvice DC Consulting Ltd.
