Ikanos' Processors Power Advanced Wireless, Voice and Data Services Across India

Ikanos' Solos family of chipsets are designed to reduce the total cost of ownership and time to market for network equipment manufacturers, allowing them to aggressively target new business opportunities and invest more heavily in the creation of value-added features. To accelerate the time to market, Ikanos provides Integrated Software on Silicon (ISOS®), a comprehensive suite of embedded broadband communications software that enables product customization and reduces first-time and subsequent design cycles. ISOS includes all key communications protocol stacks along with integrated applications, such as fully integrated firewall and network address translation (NAT) for secure LAN/WAN activities. Additionally, ISOS incorporates universal plug-and-play capabilities for home and office network connectivity and additional security features.
The latest addition to the Solos family -- Solos-WV2 (CX94616) -- is a powerful single channel communications processor for integrated voice and data services. The chipset includes an ARM™-core, integrated voice processing and 802.11b/g wireless networking. In addition, the product supports 802.11n applications.
