Thu, January 22, 2009 CalAmp Partners with Jasper Wireless for International Expansion of its Aercept Mobile Asset Tracking Solution
OXNARD, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--CalAmp Corp. (NASDAQ: CAMP), a leading provider of wireless products, services and solutions, announced today that it has partnered with Jasper Wireless to expand the service area of its Aercept mobile asset tracking business across Europe and the Americas. Jasper Wireless offers the leading service platform for managing connected devices around the world.
As an integrated provider of asset tracking solutions, CalAmp's Aercept business combines hardware devices, wireless network access and web-based software applications to deliver mobile asset tracking services.
The Jasper Wireless one-stop service offering provides a complete solution that includes worldwide device connectivity with the Jasper Global SIM, web-based communications management through the Jasper Control Center, flexible billing rate plans and an automated provisioning process that allows devices to be tested for free before service is automatically activated upon customer use.
