  This announcement took place during a press conference held on UDST campus, in the presence of Dr. Salem Al-Naemi, President of UDST, Dr. Hareb Al-Jabri, Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education,

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) in Qatar, in collaboration with the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST), has announced the introduction of new STEM-focused Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) teaching programs. These programs, set to commence in the Fall 2023 semester, aim to address the increasing demand for skilled educators in STEM fields. The initiative includes a Bachelor of Education in TVET with specializations in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Manufacturing, and Automotive Technology, designed to equip teachers with the necessary skills to prepare students for the workforce. This partnership underscores a commitment to enhancing educational quality and aligning it with Qatar's National Vision 2030, focusing on economic diversification and sustainable development.
