Harrisburg University of Science and Technology has clarified that despite the closure of its Practical Nursing Program, the majority of its nursing education offerings are not only continuing but are also expanding. The university emphasized that its Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs are thriving, with the ASN program having graduated its first class in May 2023 and the BSN program set to welcome its inaugural class in August 2023. Additionally, Harrisburg University is actively recruiting for its Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program, which is designed to prepare nurses for advanced practice roles. The university is also enhancing its simulation labs and clinical partnerships to support these programs, ensuring that students receive comprehensive training and education.
