The Uttar Pradesh government has presented a budget of Rs 8.08 lakh crore for the fiscal year 2025-26, focusing on infrastructure development, welfare schemes, and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI). Finance Minister Suresh Khanna highlighted that the budget aims to enhance the state's economic growth, with significant allocations for AI to improve governance and public services. Key areas of focus include education, health, and agriculture, with initiatives like the Mukhyamantri Khet Suraksha Yojana for crop protection and the Mukhyamantri Samoohik Vivah Yojana for mass marriages.
