The American University of Sharjah (AUS) has partnered with the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas) to introduce an accelerated 4+1 Engineering Program. This initiative allows AUS engineering students to complete both their bachelor's and master's degrees in just five years. Students will spend their first four years at AUS, followed by a year at UT Dallas, where they can pursue a Master of Science in either Computer Science or Computer Engineering. This program not only offers a fast track to advanced degrees but also provides students with international exposure, enhancing their educational and career prospects. The collaboration was formalized through a memorandum of understanding signed by key representatives from both universities, aiming to foster academic and research exchanges.
