  • BENGALURU: The National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) entered into an important partnership aimed at fast-tracking the commercialisation of innovative technologies developed at IISc.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance the commercialization of technologies developed at IISc. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic research and industry application by facilitating the transfer of IISc's intellectual property to the market. The agreement was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by key representatives from both organizations. The partnership will focus on identifying promising technologies, providing support for patenting, and aiding in the licensing and commercialization processes. This initiative is expected to not only accelerate the practical application of scientific research but also contribute significantly to India's technological and economic growth.
