UTA researcher named National Academy of Inventors fellow

The National Academy of Inventors (NAI) has elected Kytai T. Nguyen, a professor in the Department of Bioengineering, as one of its 2024 fellows.
Dr. Wujie Zhang, a distinguished researcher at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), has been honored as a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI). This prestigious recognition highlights his significant contributions to the field of engineering, particularly in the development of innovative technologies for manufacturing and materials processing. Dr. Zhang's work focuses on improving the efficiency and sustainability of manufacturing processes, which has led to numerous patents and the establishment of several startup companies.
