  • The apex socio-cultural organization of the Ibibio people worldwide, Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio (MMI), has inaugurated Ikorodu Chapter, sworn-in executive officers and inducted 15 members in the new chapter.

The Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, a socio-cultural organization for the Ibibio people, has expanded its reach by inaugurating a new chapter in Ikorodu, Lagos State, and inducting 15 new members. The event, which took place at the Ikorodu Town Hall, was marked by cultural displays and speeches emphasizing unity and cultural preservation among the Ibibio diaspora. The President General, Barr. Barrister Sunny Udom, highlighted the importance of maintaining cultural identity and fostering development within the community. The ceremony also featured the conferment of chieftaincy titles, underscoring the group's commitment to recognizing and celebrating its members' contributions to the community.
