Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), part of Qatar Foundation, is a Free Zone, accelerator and incubator for tech-product development in Qatar. The park fosters an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Qatar that works to accelerate commercialization of market-ready technologies to realize Qatar's national diversification drive.
The article discusses an AI Hackathon hosted by Qatar Foundation's (QF) Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Microsoft. Held at QSTP's Tech Venture Building, the event attracted over 100 participants from various sectors including students, professionals, and entrepreneurs. The hackathon focused on developing AI-driven solutions for sustainability, particularly in areas like waste management, energy efficiency, and water conservation. The event not only highlighted the potential of AI in solving environmental issues but also emphasized the importance of innovation in achieving sustainable development goals.
