LOCALS of Cagayan de Oro City and its nearby municipalities and provinces are in for an exciting week as the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) brings its latest innovations at the 2024 National Science,

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is set to host the 2024 National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) in Cagayan de Oro from July 24 to 28, focusing on the theme "Science, Technology, and Innovation: Fostering a Green Economy for Sustainable Development." This event will highlight the role of science and technology in promoting a green economy, featuring various activities like the Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTIW), the National Invention, Innovations, and Technology Exhibition (NIITE), and the National S&T Conference. Key highlights include the launch of the DOST's Green Economy Program, showcasing innovations in renewable energy, waste management, and sustainable agriculture. The event will also feature a Technology Investment Forum to attract investments in green technologies, alongside educational and public engagement activities aimed at fostering a culture of innovation and sustainability.
