The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has developed an e-learning course titled "Mammography: A Comprehensive Introduction" to enhance the skills of radiographers, radiologists, and medical physicists in mammography. This course, accessible through the IAEA's e-learning platform, CLP4NET, covers essential topics such as breast anatomy, imaging techniques, radiation protection, and quality assurance. It aims to improve the quality of breast cancer screening and diagnosis, particularly in low- and middle-income countries where access to such training might be limited. The course includes interactive modules, case studies, and assessments to ensure practical understanding and application of the knowledge. This initiative supports the IAEA's broader goal of promoting global health by improving cancer care through education and capacity building.
