Agilent Technologies Announces Offering of Senior Notes

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--([ ])--Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced it is offering, subject to market and other conditions, a series of senior notes.

Agilent intends to use the net proceeds from the offeringfor general corporate purposes, which will include the repayment of its 4.45 percent senior notes due in September 2012.
