SAN JOSE, Calif., May 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SunPower Corp. (NASDAQ: [ SPWR ]), a Silicon Valley-based manufacturer of high-efficiency solar cells, solar panels and solar systems, today announced that its President and CEO, Tom Werner, will speak at key investor conferences during the second quarter of 2012.

On Tuesday, May 15, Werner will speak at the Deutsche Bank 2012 Clean Tech, Utilities & Power Conference being held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.  He will begin his presentation at 9:25 a.m. Eastern Time.

Werner will then address the Cowen and Company 40th Annual Technology, Media and Telecom Conference on Thursday, May 31 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time at the New York Palace Hotel.
