New Four Channel, Continuous Wave Transmitter From Supertex Minimizes Phase Noise and Power Consumption
CW01 Features High Speed D Flip-Flop and High Speed MOSFET Gate Driver
SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 20, 2011) - Supertex (
CW01 features a high speed D flip-flop and a high speed MOSFET to minimize phase noise to a typical level of -171dB below carrier. The D flip-flop allows CW01's input frequency to be aligned to a high frequency clock. When a logic high is clocked into the D flip-flop, the N-channel MOSFET is turned on. Data are then clocked in during the low to high transition. The IC also features VDD and VLL undervoltage lockout to prevent spurious turn on.
"By providing very high speed data clocking, CW01 generates very little phase noise, and thus delivers highly accurate ultrasound images," states Stephen Lin, Vice President of Marketing for Supertex. "The capability of the IC to withstand transmit voltages up to 100V allows for higher power scans and deeper body tissue imaging."
CW01 is available in a 24-lead QFN package (CW01K6-G). The part is RoHS compliant. Samples are available from stock. Lead-time for production quantities is 4-6 weeks ARO. Pricing is US$6.27 each for the CW01K6-G in 1K quantities.
