TeleCommunication Systems' CEO Re-Elected to the CTIA-The Wireless Association® Board of Directors

ANNAPOLIS, MD--(Marketwire - Oct 13, 2011) - TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) (NASDAQ: [ TSYS ]), a world leader in highly reliable and secure mobile communication technology, today announced that Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Board, Maurice B. Tosé, has been re-elected to the board of directors of CTIA-The Wireless Association®. CTIA is an international nonprofit membership organization that has represented the wireless communications industry since 1984. Mr. Tosé will serve his second, one-year term as an "Other Supplier" representative beginning on January 1, 2012.
