First Solar Extends Workmanship Warranty to Ten Years

The announcement was made at the 2011 European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC), one of the worlda�s largest solar energy trade shows.

The new warranty covers First Solara�s advanced Series 3 solar modules as of Oct. 1 and demonstrates the companya�s commitment to product quality and reliability. First Solara�s proven thin-film technology has been deployed in some of the largest photovoltaic projects to date, like the 80 megawatt Sarnia project in Ontario, Canada.
