Showcasing achievements in photovoltaics and football with Hamburg SV

SHANGHAI, Sept. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hanwha SolarOne Co., Ltd. ("Hanwha SolarOne" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: [ HSOL ]), a vertically integrated manufacturer of silicon ingots, wafers and photovoltaic ("PV") cells and modules in China, today announced it will attend the 26th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition ("PVSEC") being held from September 5 to 8, 2011 in Hamburg, Germany. The company's booth B4 is located in hall B5.

Earlier this year, Hanwha SolarOne became the official sponsor of the Hamburg SV soccer club. The Company's booth at PVSEC will reflect its Hamburg SV sponsorship and the spirit of sport. The booth will also feature a bar where attendees will have the opportunity to meet some of the players.

At the event, Hanwha SolarOne will feature a selection of both its standard and application-optimized monocrystalline and polycrystalline modules, including its Greenhouse modules, developed for direct mounting in greenhouse structures, and its SolarIris BIPV modules, designed to replace commercial and residential windows and skylights.
