MELVILLE, N.Y.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE) announced the promotion of Mark G. Carlson to Director of Sales a" Americas. In this new position, Mr. Carlson will be responsible for the sales of all of Parka™s product lines in North America and South America. Mr. Carlson will report to Chris Mastrogiacomo, Parka™s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Carlson joined Park Electrochemical Corp. in May 2003 as Global Business Director of RF/ microwave of Neltec, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Park Electrochemical Corp. located in Tempe, Arizona. In December 2007, Mr. Carlson became Technical Marketing Director for North and South America of Park Electrochemical Corp; and in January 2010, he was promoted to Director of Global RF Marketing of Park. Prior to joining Park in 2003, Mr. Carlson was the Eastern Regional Account Manager at Isola Laminating Systems, and he held sales and marketing management positions over the preceding twenty years for AlliedSignal Laminate Systems, Isola Laminating Systems, Arlon Materials and Keene Technologies. Mr. Carlson received a Bachelor of Science degree in business Finance from the University of Delaware.
