SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - April 11, 2011) - RAE Systems Inc., a manufacturer of toxic gas- and radiation-detection equipment, is interested in donating a limited number of gamma-ray radiation detectors to help protect journalists covering the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, as well as aid workers who are in the country to help with the recovery. As part of this program, RAE Systems will provide its all-in-one GammaRAE II R personal radiation detector and dosimeter, which provides rapid-response detection and accurate dose measurements for tracking radiation exposures over time.
