TeleCommunication Systems Extends Agreement With U.S. Cellular Wireless for "Your Navigator"

ANNAPOLIS, MD--(Marketwire - March 4, 2011) - TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) (NASDAQ: [ TSYS ]), a world leader in highly reliable and secure mobile communication technology, today announced that U.S. Cellular has extended its agreement to offer "Your Navigator," powered by TCS. Your Navigator is a leading Location Based Services (LBS) application that transforms any GPS-enabled mobile phone into a personal navigation device with real-time, turn-by-turn visual and audio directions for people on the move. Since 2007, TCS has worked with U.S. Cellular to enhance their customers' mobile experience with precise LBS.

The contract is a two-year Software License Agreement for TCS to provide Your Navigator through U.S. Cellular's feature (BREW) phones. Chicago-based U.S. Cellular is the nation's sixth-largest, full-service wireless carrier, serving 6.1 million customers nationwide. With Your Navigator, users can access business listings and directories, movie theaters and show times, event venues, hotels, landmarks, gas stations -- along with 14 million other points of interest within the U.S. -- with the touch of a button. They may access traffic conditions and weather information 24/7, no matter where they are located.
