Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Selects Sapient Government Services As Prime Contractor for Multiple-Award Contract

ARLINGTON, Va.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--[ Sapient Government Services ], a division of Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE), today announced that it has been awarded a multiple-award [ Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) ] prime contract with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The award allows Sapient to compete for task orders with other contract awardees to perform a variety of management consulting services for the CDC under the agencya™s Information Management Services (CIMS) contract. The contract has a potential value of up to $1 billion across all 16 contract awardees and a base period of two years with four, two-year option periods.
