(NYSE: IHS), a leading global source of critical information and insight, today announced a strategic partnership with China Monitor, Inc., to be the exclusive distributor of all of China Monitor's analyses and products. China Monitor has an exclusive license with the China Economic Information Network (CEInet) to translate, edit and adapt all of CEInet's products for delivery outside of China through IHS.

CEInet was founded in 1996 by the State Information Center (SIC) of China, which continues to own most of the company. The SIC is an influential part of the Chinese government's National Development and Reform Commission, which is China's top economic authority and planner.
