(NASDAQ: [ ADVS ]), a leading provider of software and services for the global investment management industry, today announced that Azentus Capital Management Ltd., a global, multi-asset, multi-strategy hedge fund based in Hong Kong, is Advent's first client in the Asia Pacific region to implement both the Geneva® and Tamale RMS® platforms for the alternatives market.

After the fund's launch, Azentus looked for an advanced portfolio management platform that could manage large volumes of complex data from multiple sources. With a significant implementation and quick turnaround time, they selected Advent to support their business needs.

Azentus chose Advent's Geneva®, a global portfolio management, reporting, and reconciliation system, which has been specifically designed for complex, global alternative investment strategies. Advent's Tamale RMS® (research management solution) was then selected to help automate and streamline the research and decision making processes.

According to Bryan Messer, Chief Technology Officer at Azentus Capital, the decision to choose Advent hinged on the company's ability to successfully implement an order management and risk management system with Geneva® at the same time. The ability to deliver on-site service for the platform's implementation and to meet Azentus' quick turnaround time was also a key consideration. "We had an aggressive timescale to get everything ready," says Mr. Messer. "We started the implementation in January with the goal of launching on the first of April, and we were able to implement and integrate the systems on time."

The Geneva® global portfolio management solution has proven to be a success, helping to integrate data from many different sources.
