Lee County, Fla. Leverages Econolite Centracs®; Travel Time Module

ANAHEIM, Calif.--([ ])--Econolite today announced that Lee County, Fla. has leveraged the Travel Time module of its Centracs Advanced Transportation Management System (ATMS) ([ http://www.econolite.com/products/systems/centracs.asp ]) for the deployment of its BlueTOADa" (Bluetooth Travel-time Origination and Destination) system to actively monitor travel times and road speeds. The Econolite Centracs ATMS was installed in 2011, as part of Lee Countyas Signal Re-timing Project. Lee County DOT received an aAa grade in the 2012 National Transportation Operations Coalition (NTOC) National Traffic Signal Report Card.

  • 5,600 gallons of fuel saved per day
