BIO-key International Responds to Blue Spike Suit
WALL, NJ--(Marketwire - Aug 21, 2012) - BIO-key International, Inc. (
Between August 9th and August 16th, 2012, Blue Spike, LCC, filed suits alleging patent infringement against thirteen companies. The defendants span a wide range of industries, from chip manufacture to digital rights management, video streaming and digital watermarking. In addition, Blue Spike filed suit against BIO-key International, Inc., a fingerprint biometric company that was founded in 1993.
Blue Spike claims that each defendant is infringing unspecified claims in U.S. Patents Nos.: 7,346,472; 7,660,700; 7,949,494; and 8,214,175. All four patents are titled "Method and device for Monitoring and analyzing signals."
