TOKYO--(Marketwire - Aug 21, 2012) - [ SolarWinds ]® (
SolarWinds has reached the following milestones in Japan:
- 2009: Added [ Jupiter Technology ] as reseller partner
- December, 2010: Established its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Brisbane, Australia, adding a dedicated, native Japanese-speaking support team
- October, 2011: Added [ Daikin Industries ] as a reseller partner
- November, 2011: Added [ Marubeni Information Systems ] and [ Mitsuiwa Corporation ] as reseller partners
- May 2012: Launched the Japanese version -- and the first localized version -- of its flagship network management product, SolarWinds [ Network Performance Monitor ]
Why is SolarWinds investing in Japan?
- SolarWinds believes that Japanese IT professionals are looking for IT management solutions that are easy to buy, easy to install, and easy to use
- SolarWinds understands the importance of providing in-language websites and products in Japan
- SolarWinds felt it was important to make sure that its website, which is the primary introduction to its products, is localized to go along with the flagship product
Japan is both the country that SolarWinds first released an in-language version of one of its products and its first full website localization project. SolarWinds NPM was released in May, and SolarWinds Network Traffic Analyzer (NTA) for the Japanese market is coming soon.
SolarWinds believes that localized versions of its products, along with a localized website, its partnerships, and its Japanese-speaking support team, will lay the foundation for the company's success in the Japanese market.
