The Costa Mesa based organization offers career training, job placement assistance and wardrobe services to provide men and women with the necessary tools and life skills to enter the workforce and achieve self-sufficiency. Funded through corporate sponsors, individual donations, and five social enterprises (including upscale resale boutiques), Working Wardrobes provides these services free of charge, transforming the lives of those most in need.

In addition to career services, the organization hosts an annual event for high school students who are selected as Simon Scholars from the Simon Family Foundation, invited by counselors within the Garden Grove and Santa Ana School Districts and the Los Angeles nonprofit organization, Dream Girls & Distinguished Gentlemen. All the students come from very low income families and economic situations that prevent them from being able to participate in many of the high school arites of passage.aThe one-day event offers a series of workshops on empowerment and etiquette and even enables students the opportunity to find the perfect prom attire a" gowns and tuxedos.
