Dr. Shipley joined Harris in 1979. During his career, he has received numerous awards and holds 10 patents. In 2000, he was named a Harris Fellow a" the companyas highest recognition for engineering achievement. Dr. Shipley is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Florida. He received his bacheloras, masteras and doctorate degrees in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
