TWDL Finds Platinum Deposits In Its Blue Jacket Mine
LAS VEGAS, Dec. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Wyoming Drilling, Inc. (OTC: TWDL) announced today that through TWDL's Legacy Rock Division, the Company submitted ore samples from the Blue Jacket Mine for fire assay.
The analysis was specific for platinum. The [ assay and report ] were completed by Copper State Analytical Lab of Prescott, Arizona. Copper State is a registered assayer in the state of Arizona. The report shows 2.602 ounces per ton of platinum. The size of the deposit is not fully known, but this is extremely exciting news. According to Wikipedia, platinum is one of the rarest elements in the Earth's crust and has an average abundance of approximately 0.005 mg/kg. Because only a few hundred tons are produced annually, it is a scarce material, is highly valuable and is a major precious metal commodity. The Stillwater Mining Company west of Nye, Montana is the only mine producing viable amounts of Platinum Group Metals (PGM) in the United States. Platinum is extremely rare and is used in jewelry as well as in the automobile industry and photography.
FORWARD SPLIT MISSTATED IN LAST PRESS RELEASE
It has been brought to our attention that the forward split referred to in our news release of December 8, 2011 was misstated. It should have been reported as a two (2) for one (1) forward split rather than a one (1) for one (1). This means that each shareholder will double his or her position effective on January 23rd. For one share, each person will own two subsequent to the forward split.
