Local Corporation to be a Featured Presenter at BIA/Kelsey Interactive Local Media Conference

IRVINE, Calif.--([ ])--[ Local Corporation ] (NASDAQ: LOCM), a leading online local media company, today announced that Sherry Thomas-Zon, vice president of local shopping, will participate in a session at the BIA/Kelsey Interactive Local Media Conference West (ILM West), Dec. 12-14 in San Francisco, Calif.

Thomas-Zon will present as part of the aCutting Edge Local Demosa session taking place at 4:15 p.m. Pacific Time today, Dec. 13. The session will give a avisuala perspective of specific key areas of the local market including radio, shopping, and SMB listings and presence from industry leaders. Thomas-Zon will explore local shopping trends and optimizing the shopping experience for the connected local consumer.

The conference program for [ ILM West: Closing the Local Loop ] will feature more than 50 speakers from across the local digital landscape.

Acquired by Local Corporation in April, 2011, Krillion is a leading location-based product search service that connects web-influenced shoppers across the U.S. with products available in stores locally, with current discount, pricing and product information. Today, the growing Krillion local search index includes more than 77,000 products from more than 70,000 retail locations.

In October, 2011, Local Corporation was granted patent number 8,032,427 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office covering a system for providing localized shopping information.
