Computer Modelling Group Announces Appointment of Vice President, Visualization
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 30, 2011) - Computer Modelling Group Ltd. (TSX:CMG) ("CMG") is pleased to announce that Robert Eastick has been promoted to Vice President, Visualization effective December 1, 2011.
Mr. Eastick has served as Manager, Visualization and Deployment since he joined CMG in 2007 and has been responsible for the leadership of CMG's Visualization team, including software development planning and execution for CMG's Builder, Results, and Launcher products, working with CMG's simulator development group to support feature additions, software release integration testing, product licensing and installation.
Mr. Eastick is a Professional Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on user experience. Prior to joining CMG, he was Product Manager at Honeywell Process Solutions, where he oversaw implementation of product strategy and new product roll-out at the multinational corporation. Mr. Eastick holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree, all from the University of Calgary.
