Softchoice Claims Three Microsoft Canada IMPACT Awards

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 2, 2011) - Softchoice Corporation (TSX:SO), Canada's top Microsoft solutions provider, is delighted to announce it has received three Microsoft Canada Impact Awards, including Software Asset Management, Volume Licensing and Sales Management Partner of the Year. Microsoft unveiled the winners at this week's annual IMPACT Awards Ceremony in Toronto.

Award Highlights:

  • Software Asset Management (SAM) Partner of the Year: For the second year in a row, Softchoice was recognized for consistently delivering outstanding service and creating superior customer value through its proprietary, cloud-based IT asset management services.
  • Volume Licensing Partner of the Year: A multi-year recipient, Softchoice was distinguished for its innovative approach to volume licensing solutions and customer-service excellence.
  • Exceptional Sales Management Partner of the Year: Softchoice received this award in acknowledgment of exceptional sales management practices and commitment to promoting continuous sales improvement.

Softchoice was named a finalist in a total of five awards categories, including Online Services and Community Leadership. Softchoice was nominated for this latter award in recognition of the Company's efforts to help bridge the 'digital divide' and promote computer literacy through Softchoice Cares, an employee-led philanthropic program. Since the beginning of this program Softchoice has won a total of 19 IMPACT awards.
